Spring 2023 Rec Baseball Registration Now Open
We are excited to open registration for our Spring 2023 season for children 5-18 years old! Details for each age group can be found on the Registration page.
The season runs from late March to mid-June. Registration is based upon the child's birthdate as of May 1, 2023.
Here are a few updates for the upcoming season:
Age groups: To assist our older age groups, 13/14 and 15-18 has now become 13-15 and 16-18. This allows us to seek a rec/local travel situation similar to other sports in the event we only have a few teams register. We have identified a few similar situations in the area and feel this is our best option moving forward.
Uniforms: Based on feedback from families, we are moving to color-based teams instead of MLB teams.
Family discount: Registering more than one child? Enter the discount code FAMILY to recieve $10 off each child's registration.
Coaches training: Interested in becoming a coach for us? Complete the level B certification (free) through USA Baseball, send us your certification, and we will fully reimburse you your child's registration. These trainings provide you with basic first aid information, pitch smart training, drills for specific skills, and much more.
Go to the USA Baseball website and click Get Started to work through the A and B certifications.
Email your certification to cylbpresident@gmail.com and cylbsecretary@gmail.com. Please include your child's name and age group in the email so we reimburse the right person.
